Hotelia is a social event management platform. By providing your phone number and consenting to receive SMS messages from Hotelia, you agree to receive the following types of messages:

• Event invitations – When other users invite you to events
• Event reminders – Updates and reminders about events you're attending
• Account notifications – Important account-related information

Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on your activity and the events you're involved with. You will only receive messages when another user invites you to an event, you receive an event reminder, or we need to send important account notifications. We do not send marketing or promotional SMS. Only users can send you messages through our platform.

Message and Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply. Standard messaging charges from your mobile carrier apply. Hotelia does not charge for SMS; your carrier may.

How to Opt-Out

You can opt-out at any time by:

• Replying STOP to any SMS message from Hotelia
• Updating your SMS preferences in account settings
• Contacting us through the app

After opting out, you will no longer receive SMS from Hotelia. You may reply START to resubscribe.

How You Consent to Receive Messages

End users provide explicit consent in two ways:

• Web-based consent (primary): During account registration at https://hotelia.us/signup, users must provide their phone number, check a required consent checkbox that states they consent to receive SMS from Hotelia, the types of messages, that frequency varies, that message and data rates may apply, and how to opt-out (reply STOP). The checkbox cannot be bypassed. Users also agree to our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy (linked in the form). Consent is stored with a timestamp.
• SMS keyword consent: Users may text START, JOIN, or YES to our SMS number to opt-in. They receive a confirmation and are then subscribed. Opt-in is recorded with a timestamp.
